Alpert emphasized that society is only making the situation more complicated. He explained 'kissing' is only the same as sleeping with their child on the same bed. However, people rarely see this as sexual.
Moreover, one must consider the scientific benefits of physical affection. According to experts, children who are always receiving kisses and hugs from their parents tend to have a higher self-esteem, be happier adults and become better communicators.
