Christina El Moussa stepped out in public looking carefree and happy in the arms of her new lover, Doug Spedding. In fact, the two could not have cared less about the onlookers hanging around while they were having a romantic afternoon date on a boat in Newport Beach. The "Flip or Flop" host was stunning in a floral dress matched with a pair of ankle booties, while the tycoon sported a casual look in blue shirt and shorts.
The lovely couple was all smiles while enjoying a glass of champagne under the hot California sun. This is not the first time Christina has been spotted with her new beau after her divorce with Tarek last year.
The two were seen enjoying a seaside dinner date at a local restaurant in Newport Beach a few days ago as reported by ET.
Christina reunites with Tarek for 'Flip or Flop'
The El Moussas are back on the set to co-host the latest season of the HGTV series which premiered on June 15. Despite the fallout of their marriage, Christina was photographed giggling at her ex-husband's playful tricks behind the camera. A snippet from the filming set showed Tarek doing a Kung Fu pose in front of his former partner who could not help but laugh.
The two are formally back in business after much speculation about their possible departure from "Flip or Flop" following an intense argument that eventually led to their divorce.
A report from Life & Style claimed the female host was initially hesitant to continue working with Tarek for the reality series. Aside from that, Christina was reportedly eyeing to host her own show.
Her mind, however, changed when the offer was laid down. A source told the magazine that the mother-of-two immediately took the bait and has decided to stay professional while sharing the set with her estranged husband.
The "Flip or Flop" hosts formally started filming Season Seven a few days after Tarek filed to divorce his ex-wife.
'We're actually good'
In an interview with PEOPLE, Christina opened up that she and Tarek have "made a lot of progress" since they decided to separate. She added that aside from working together for the HGTV program, both of them are just focused on co-parenting their kids, Taylor (6) and Brayden (1).
Tarek, on the other hand, personally thanked HGTV for their support which has inspired them to remain on "Flip or Flop" even after what happened in their family. Both of them are even looking forward to continue working together for the upcoming seasons of the reality show.
