For the better part of the last two years, Donald Trump has changed the game of American politics. While the president has dialed back his attacks against some of his more high-profiled critics, that has stopped certain celebrities from speaking out.
Arnold on Trump
It didn't take long for Donald Trump and Hollywood stars to engage in a heated war of words following his campaign announcement just over two years ago. After labeling illegal immigrants from Mexico as "rapists" and "murderers," the majority of the liberal-leaning celebrities took aim at the former host of "The Apprentice," laying the ground work for a feud that has only increased since that time.
While it's become commonplace for those on the left in Hollywood to speak out against Trump, even some conservative celebrities don't seem to be on the same page as the president. The highest profiled Republican celebrity critic of Trump has been Arnold Schwarzenegger, with the actor taking his love for politics into two terms as the governor of California. During the 2016 presidential election, Schwarzenegger refused to back Trump, deciding first to endorse Ohio Gov. John Kasich in the GOP primary, and then later Hillary Clinton in the general election. In recent months, Schwarzenegger and Trump have traded blows, with the "Terminator" star recently taking over the role as host of "The Apprentice," much to the chagrin of the billionaire real estate mogul.
As seen across social media on June 23, Schwarzenegger decided to continue trolling Trump, this time joining forces with the president of France.
I was truly honored to meet with President @EmmanuelMacron about how we can work together for a clean energy future. He's a great leader. pic.twitter.com/MSoxjIruup

In a video posted to several social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat on Friday, Arnold Schwarzenegger and French President emmanuel macron posted a video together as the two promoted the need to focus on environmental issues, while mocking Donald Trump with a form of his "Make America Great Again" slogan.
"I am here with President Macron and we are talking about environmental issues and a green future," Arnold Schwarzenegger said. Emmanuel Macron then chimed in, stating, "and now we will deliver together to make the planet great again." The caption of Schwarzenegger's video read, "With President Macron, a great leader!," in what could be viewed as a shot at Donald Trump who the former California governor has been critical of in recent months.
.@Schwarzenegger just told the world that Donald Trump does not represent America on the environment. pic.twitter.com/7fKZGEJ8k9

Moving forward
Arnold Schwarzenegger and President Macron's apparent trolling of Donald Trump was focused on the United States president's views on climate change and global warming. Just last month, Trump announced that he was pulling the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accord, in a shocking statement which was universally panned around the global, with the exception of supporters of the president in the United States.
