Last week's episode of "The Originals" Season 4 is both troubling and confusing. With that, the viewers are now asking about what will happen to the characters in episode 10. Many fans also want to know if Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies) is Dead Or Alive.
Episode 9 recap
Before we proceed to the spoilers for episode 10, let us have a brief recap of the previous episode titled "Queen Death," wherein Vincent came up with a plan on how to defeat The Hollow. Meanwhile, Freya (Riley Voelkel) tries to find a way to save Elijah.
Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will be making a huge sacrifice for his family.
Since the Hollow has Elijah, she will be able to complete the ritual to maker herself human again. She only needs to kill Elijah who has the poison of the rose thorns in him.
"The Originals" episode 9 revealed that more witches from New Orleans are pledging for The Hollow since they believe that it is better to side with her and that it is the only way to bring back the city.
Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) is trying to help Klaus and Freya to device a plan on how to trap The Hollow while she is still in her spirit form. But things are hard, especially that their plan involves the death of Elijah. Klaus wants to save his brother, but Vincent said that Elijah is already dead. Hence, their plan will make his death count for something.
Freya's plan
In the next episode, Klaus will request his siblings Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt) and Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) to go back home so they can protect their family from The Hollow. Apparently, Elijah died since he is seen lying inside a coffin. Klaus promised to bring back the life of his brother.
Tensions will rise as Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) leads a hunt for The Hollow which will put him on a collision course with the person he isn't prepared to face.
Kol will continue to mourn the loss of Davina (Danielle Campbell), and he is considering to take some steps just to see her again.
Freya seems to be planning a dangerous mission wherein she recruits Hayley. She told Hayley that Elijah's mind shattered when the pendant was broken. Freya has an idea, but this would be risky for her and Hayley.
It is possible that Freya and Hayley entered the mind of Elijah. What will they see there?
Spoilers reveal that Elijah's mind could be in 1,000 years of memories. Freya finds Elija after walking in a hallway and passing through an old red door. But what she saw isn't the present-day Elijah that she knows.
He is a different person from his past wherein he has scary looking eyes. Will he recognize Freya and Hayley? Will they manage to bring back Elijah to the real world after he is trapped in the past?
