rachel lindsay teases that she's not taking the same path on "The Bachelorette" 2017 season that Nick Viall did during his time on "The Bachelor," according to spoilers she's dishing on. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lindsay reveals that race is addressed at the very beginning of the show given the fact she's the first black "Bachelorette." Rachel Lindsay won't get "intimate" with "everyone"
Rachel says that unlike Nick, she won't be getting "intimate with everyone in the fantasy suites." She does admit that when someone gets "in that moment," that "you just don't know" what's going to happen. "The Bachelorette" 2017 lead continued that she doesn't see that happening for her, however. She tells fans that they'll just have to wait and see what happens!
Will Rachel listen to anyone warning her about another man in the house?
Lindsay says if someone tells her about a villain in the house, she'll be "aware" of it and have her "antennae up," but won't fret over it. It sounds like anyone who pulls catty behavior or expresses no desire to be on "The Bachelorette" for the right reasons, that she'll weed them out fairly quick.

What does Rachel want in a man?
Rachel is seeking a confident man, but not anyone who has that annoying "cocky" personality. She says she can deal with momentarily, but it's not a trait she puts up with for very long. Since Lindsay stays true to herself, she demands the same standards of her men -- and told producers that.
Additionally, Lindsay doesn't avoid the subject of race. She asks her contestants if they've ever dated a woman outside their own race because she thinks it's important to know if they've experienced that. Moreover, Rachel has dated men outside her race and has always been open to that.
