Funko has recently debuted some vinyl figures for the forthcoming “Spider-Man: Homecoming" movie, including an unmasked version of the hero, and vibrant pops of other variants.

Directed by Jon Watts, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” is scripted by John Francis, Jonathan Goldstein, Chris McKenne, Erik Sommers, and Christopher Ford. It is a joint project of Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, and Louis D’Esposito, with Victoria Alonso, Stan Lee, Patricia Whitcher, and Jeremy Latcham serving as executive producers.

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ – a much-anticipated film

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is an American superhero movie based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, financed by Marvel Studios and Columbia Pictures.

Upon its release on July 7, 2017, the film will be distributed by Sony Pictures. It is the second film in the “Spider-Man” series and the seventh installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The cast includes Tom Holland, Donald Glover, Michael Keaton, Jacob Batalona, Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, Tyne Daly, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey, and Bokeem Woodbine. In 2015, Sony and Marvel Studios signed a deal to share the character rights of Spider-Man, integrating it into mega-budget Hollywood movies. The film will be released in IMAX, 3D, and IMAX 3D. A sequel is scheduled for July 2019.

Post-production and marketing

In 2016, Sony announced that it has pushed the release date from June 28 to July 7, 2017, revealing that “Spider-Man: Homecoming” would be released in a variety of formats.

J. K. Simmons was recruited to reprise his role as Jameson from Sam Raimi's blockbuster “Spider-Man.”

Principal photography began in June 2016 and concluded in January 2017. Most of the scenes have been shot at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Georgia. Filming also took place in Atlanta, New York City, Istanbul, and Los Angeles. Two months ago, the filmmaker revealed that “Spider-Man: Homecoming” is being reshot.

Watts, Batalona, Harrier, Zendaya, Revolori, and Holland appeared at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 to show clips of the movie. The first teaser trailer was released in February 2017. Two new clips and several photos debuted on March 28, 2017, followed by a full-length trailer at CinemaCon 2017.

Earlier this year, Rothman announced that Marvel and Sony would develop a sequel to the movie.
