Speaking to The New York Times, Pattinson has divulged that he almost lost his role as Edward Cullen in the “Twilight” series. According to the “Cosmopolis” lead star, he almost got terminated from portraying as the leading man of Bella Swan (Stewart) because of his insubordination and defiance.
While his first few days on the “Twilight” set did not go very well, Robert Pattinson is thankful that his agents helped him to iron out things before it is too late. The soon-to-be husband of FKA Twigs has also revealed that working with Kristen Stewart is such a huge blessing for him and to his career.
Not only that, but Pattinson has also looked back on the friendship he formed with former co-stars Taylor Lautner, Anna Kendrick, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Billy Burke, Rachelle Burke and, of course, ex-girlfriend Stewart. The “New Moon” actor added that it was “amazing luck, as well, to just have fallen into it with the group of people I worked with on it.”

As a matter of fact, this is not the first time that the fiancé of FKA Twigs has expressed his interest in doing another film with Stella Maxwell’s rumored girlfriend.
The “Remember Me” actor stated that it would be great to be reunited with his former girlfriend, who rose to fame along with him. In fact, a HollywoodLife source has revealed that Pattinson wants to do another “Twilight” sequel as it would help him save his dimming career.
There are even claims saying that the “Water for Elephants” star is begging Stella Maxwell’s girlfriend to do a new project with him.
Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, has already made it clear that she does not see herself doing another vampire-themed movie with Pattinson very soon. "She thinks of it as high school, and she feels that she has graduated onto other opportunities," the same source went on.
