The yearly Met Gala is the gathering of stars which aims to raise money for the Costume Institute. Because of the huge number of stars who get together in the event, it is dubbed as the party of the year. It is also one event wherein the stars showcase elaborate fashionable looks on the red carpet.

For the Met Gala 2017, many stars shine with their unique looks but there are also some who failed to impress. There are also some who are certified head turners just like the see-through dress of supermodel Kendall Jenner.

Kendall wears G-string

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star left little to the imagination at the cream and blue carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute benefit event.

She was wearing a see-through black dress with a cut-out through her chest and stomach.

It also has a thigh-high slit, but what makes it really a total head turner is its backside which is completely sheer. What can be seen in the rear part is merely Kendall's black G-string. The dress is said to be made from one piece of string designed by La Perla.

According to Kendall, her look is "pretty sexual" but she likes it especially that she opts to wear something that is controversial. She added that it was her older sister Kim Kardashian who gave her an advice about her look. It is noted that Kim was spotted wearing a G-string last week in Mexico which turned out controversial.

Bella's catsuit

Another attire that caught the attention of many is Bella Hadid's sheer catsuit designed by Alexander Wang.

She also wore a near-naked attire which she said she really love. Bella said that she was happy that the sketch of the catsuit is exactly how it turned out.

Wang said that he was excited to design the catsuit of the model since it is something that hasn't been explored for the event. The dress is an amplified version of the catsuits from his Fall 2017 collection.

Wang added that the dress showed the incredible body of Bella.

Kim Kardashian's look

While the best buddies wore a near naked attire, Kendall's older sister Kim Kardashian had a surprising look during the event.

Instead of her usual body-hugging dress, Kim, who showed up without her husband Kanye West, wore an off-shoulder white streamlined slip dress.

The dress made of silk georgette featured an exaggerated bow accent which is indeed far from her usual red carpet look. The simple dress is designed by Vivienne Westwood. Meanwhile, her younger sister Kylie Jenner was seen wearing a semi-sheer nude color Versace gown which appears like a fishing net embellished with seas shells and long tassels.
