Just like most celebrity couples, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have always wanted to keep their relationship as private as possible. But with the popularity of “Game of Thrones,” they just can’t get away from the spotlight. Now, it seems that the duo have finally gotten comfortable showing their love and affection in public.
Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) garnered a lot of attention when they took their on-screen romance in “Game of Thrones” off-screen. Rumors of the duo dating spread like wildfire until people realized that they were indeed a couple without announcing it publicly.
'GoT' stars spotted holding hands
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have always been tight-lipped regarding their romance. Unfortunately for the “Game Of Thrones” stars, their co-star, mother of dragons herself, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), seemingly confirmed their relationship status for them in a 2016 interview.
“We like to spread the love on our show, it’s a beautiful thing,” the 30-year-old English actress told "Entertainment Tonight" at the time. “There are worse things than being caught kissing Jon Snow.”
Despite their efforts to keep their romance on the downlow, photos of them kissing and hugging emerged online, which answered everyone’s question about their status. Now, the couple are not bothered with being seen together in public anymore.
Wedding bells may be ringing soon for Kit & Rose
In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the "GoT" couple were spotted holding hands while enjoying a romantic day on Greece's Hydra Island on Wednesday. The “Game of Thrones” stars strolled through the sunny streets before taking a break from the scorching temperature to get some lunch.
With the couple looking so in love and comfortable with each other, rumors have it that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie may be ready to take their relationship to another level. Although this remains a rumor for now, the smiles on their faces and their sweet glances at each other hint that they are definitely getting serious.
Kit even shared in an earlier interview the moment he fell in love with his girlfriend. "Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love," the "Game of Thrones" actor revealed to Vogue Italia.
