“Elementary” star Lucy Liu has signed for a recurring role in the new episodes of Hulu’s comedy series, “Difficult People.”

The third season finds Billy (Billy Eichner) and Julie (Julie Klausner) as best friends. Billy begins to sour on New York City, while Julie embarks on a long quest for happiness. Liu is set to play a corrupt female, Veronica, who teams up with Marilyn (Martin) to publish a series of books.

The third season of “Difficult People” will premiere on August 8, 2017, on Hulu.
