It's official. Another Duggar wedding is in the works. Last week, Joseph Duggar, 22, proposed to his girlfriend, Kendra Caldwell, two months after they announced their courtship. And while the "Counting On" star and his bride-to-be are over-the-moon excited to tie the knot, some fans are wondering why he proposed at his sister's wedding.
Did Joseph try to upstage Joy-Anna's big day?
Joseph decided asked Kendra to marry him on May 26 — his sister, Joy-Anna's wedding day. Although the announcement from the family is all about love, love, love, one can't but think he upstaged Joy-Anna and her husband, Austin Forsyth's wedding.
Then again, maybe Joe thought it was no better place for him to express his love for Kendra than at a wedding surrounded by hundreds (maybe thousands) of Duggar friends and family.
Apparently, it's not a big deal for the Duggars. Joy and Austin's wedding was taped for an upcoming episode of "Counting On," so why not include an engagement in the episode? It beats talking about Josh Duggar's past, that's for sure.
When's the big day?
Joe Duggar and his bride-to-be, Kendra Caldwell, posted a statement on the Duggar Family website after they got engaged. They didn't let us in on the wedding date, stating that it would be "some day" — that's vague!
“We are so excited to be engaged and look forward to a lifetime together," the couple wrote in a statement.
"We are so grateful for how the Lord brought us together, and we look forward to this special time of engagement and to some day serving Christ as man and wife."

Joy-Anna and Austin's marriage marks the fifth time one of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's kids have tied the knot. All five weddings were recorded by TLC to air on either the now-defunct "19 Kids and Counting" or on the family's spinoff, "Counting On.

Although Joe and Kendra are the newest Duggar couple to get engaged, that doesn't mean they will be next to marry. There are rumors that Jana Duggar, 27, is courting long-time Duggar family friend, Jonathan Hartono. So far, the Duggar family hasn't confirmed the courtship. However, Radar reports that Duggar Dad Jim Bob was spotted out with Jonathan, perhaps talking to him about a possible relationship with Jana.
Whether their friendship has progressed into a courtship is unknown at this point, but if so, it won't be long before the family makes a formal announcement that another Duggar wedding is in the works.
