The Acm Awards used to be hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan every year. These two were hilarious together, and then Blake moved on, and Dierks Bentley took over. Fans really miss seeing Blake Shelton host the event, but the thing is he doesn't even seem to be there anymore. Tonight Blake didn't perform and wasn't seen in the audience, so everyone wondered what was going on. They would have liked to see Blake at least perform on stage during the show tonight, but it didn't happen.
Blake Shelton shares what is up with him now
Blake Shelton actually went to his Instagram and shared what is going on with him.
He was just hanging out and wasn't at the ACM Awards. If there was a reason he missed it, then Blake wasn't sharing. He simply posted a picture of his feet in work boots, a cup in his hand and a hat on his leg. Along with it, Blake posted the caption "Ah... Another Sunday evening in my Oklahoma..." It looks like Shelton was just back home in Oklahoma hanging out in his backyard. They were having a fun time with each other. He didn't say if Gwen Stefani was by his side or not, but Blake just showed a picture of himself. His girlfriend Gwen has been known to hang out with him in Oklahoma from time to time.
The fans are all asking Shelton why he isn't at the big ACM Awards. They want him there and say that isn't the same that he isn't there and at least performing.
Everyone would love to see him show up. There is some speculation that he might just be letting Miranda Lambert have the show and just staying away. There is no drama at all with they aren't there together. Miranda Lambert was there with her new boyfriend Anderson East and Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani weren't there at all.
