The month of April is coming to an end. A lot of Hollywood films and television shows have been scheduled for coming months. The most anticipated TV Shows are “I'm Dying Up Here,” “Twin Peaks,” “I Love Dick,” and “The Deuce.”

Several short films and documentaries will be out from May to August, making us forget about the tremendous seasons of “The Americans,” and “Games of Thrones.”

‘I'm Dying Up Here’ – an American television series

I'm Dying Up Here" is one of the most anticipated comedy dramas.

It is being created and developed by David Flebotte. The show is inspired from a novel of the same name by Flebotte, with Jonathan Levine serving as executive producer. The first episode will be aired on Showtime on June 4, 2017.

It is a joint project of Christina Wayne and Michael Aguilar and was first announced in January 2016. Melissa Leo, RJ Cyler, Ari Graynor, Clark Duke, Stephen Guarino, Erik Griffin, and Andrew Satino play Goldie, Adam, Cassie, Ron, Sully, Ralph, and Bill, respectively. Robert Forster, Cathy Moriarty, Alfred Molina, and Richard Kind are in the supporting roles.

‘Twin Peaks’ – a highly-anticipated sitcom

Twin Peaks” is an upcoming drama developed by David Lynch and Mark Frost. The show will premiere on ABC in the third week of June. Its first season was premiered in April 1990, but poor ratings led to the immediate cancellation. The story revolves around an FBI agent, Dale (Kyle MacLachlan), who investigates the murder of Laura (Sheryl Lee).

During his investigations, he discovers supernatural elements at Laura’s house. Dana Ashbrook, Richard Beymer, Lara Flynn, Warren Frost, Peggy Lipton, James Marshall, Everett McGill, and Kimmy Robertson are in the supporting roles. Lynch has developed the series for ABC with a budget of $4 million.

‘I Love Dick’ – a notable TV arrival

I Love Dick” is arriving on Amazon Prime in the fourth week of May 2017. The series has been developed by Jill Soloway (Vikings, Boardwalk Empire). Its story is inspired by a novel of the same name by Chris Karaus. The series revolves around two friends who fall in love with the same professor.

The cast includes Kathryn Hahn, Kevin Bacon, and Griffin Dunne, while Sarah Gubbins is serving as executive producer. “Maximum Security,” “Life is Beautiful,” “Nick of Time,” and “Planes, Trains and Automobiles,” will also premiere on Amazon in coming months.

‘The Deuce’ – an upcoming series by David Simon

David Simon has directed and written “The Deuce,” with George Pelecanos serving as executive producer.

It is one of the most anticipated television shows. The series will premiere on cable network HBO this July.

Its story revolves around twin brothers, Frankie and Vincent, who frequently visit sex workers and develop HIV AIDS. The cast includes James Franco, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Emily Meade, Anwan Glover, Gary Carr, Lawrence Gilliard, Michael Rispoli, and Natalie Paul. Its writing staff consists of Pelecanos, Simon, Richard, Lisa, and Megan.
