Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi” reportedly will release its first ever trailer during the Star Wars Celebration. The trailer will be aired live at the Galaxy stage on April 14 with the President of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy and the new director Rian Johnson. As one of the most highly anticipated releases aside from the film, the first trailer has been hitting the Internet recently with a barrage of speculation, predictions, and leaks.

The popular theorist Mike Zeroh has recently revealed new details of the trailer as well as information about its release.

The theorist found a leak in bullet form posted on 4chan revealing details about the first ever preview of the movie. 4chan has a reputation for giving out very accurate information or very wrong information. The alleged leaked details were taken down from the site.

Leaked details

Reportedly, several scenes for the teaser trailer were shot from The Dingle Peninsula or County Kerry. In addition, it was revealed that these shots were filmed earlier for the preview alone. Aside from that, Zeroh also revealed that the teaser preview will be connected not only to “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” but also to “Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” (or Salazar’s Revenge for the UK version).

There were also shots filmed from Skellig Michael in September 2015 that will be included. According to the leaked post, as reported by Zeroh, the majority of the scenes were filmed in IMAX. There were allegedly four teasers initially developed and only one was chosen for the upcoming Star Wars Celebration. The entire teaser took nine weeks to develop.

Moreover, currently, Disney and Lucasfilm are still undecided on whether they will show a scissor reel or a private teaser trailer for “Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi” for the Celebration.

Tribute to Carrie Fisher

Mike Zeroh also revealed details about the first teaser preview of the movie. He suggested that there will be a portion that will pay tribute to the late actress Carrie Fisher. “Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi” will be released on December 15th of this year.
