“Once Upon a Time” Season 6 is about to come to an end, but ABC has no words yet for the renewal of “Once Upon a Time” Season 7. It has been said that the show’s creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are eyeing to make the next chapter with a new narrative telling a different story. When the fairy tale series premiered in 2011, it offered a new taste of television show unlike any other.
In a report made by Hypable, the author named Matthew Howland described it to have a combination of magic and reality. It has puzzled the minds of its audience by featuring an array of mysteries that would question if it still fictional or reality.
But just like any other TV series, it also weakened, thus a reset is being the target.
New location for fairy tale legends
If Horowitz and Kitsis finally hit the reset button, there’s a big possibility that “Once Upon a Time” Season 7 will regain the magic it once had. Hence, this could be obtained through a change of location. This time, they need to move from Storybrooke to Enchanted Forest.
The publication noted that the settings in Storybrooke are too limiting for the show’s characters that made them unable to grow. In fact, the place is once a prison created by Regina (Lana Parilla) using the Dark Curse. As long as they choose to stay here, they will never find the peace they are looking for or even become the person that they truly are.
New conflict to help the show
Returning to Enchanted Forest would make a new range of conflict for the show without overusing the narrative of a villain. Here, they would be facing each other instead of the baddies to figure out their purpose in their new environment. Also, coming back to the Fairytale Land would also bring them to their roots.
If “Once Upon a Time” Season 7 would be returning to Enchanted Forest, its characters would now have the chance to start all over again to find their real happy endings. This, too, might help solve all the conflicts the show has and give proper endings to some roles.
This might be the perfect time to destroy the Dark Magic and put an end to the roles of the Savior and Dark One.
Thus, the television series might end with peace between the kingdoms, territories, and worlds instead of adding another curse, villain, and more complicated problems. However, fans have to take this with a grain of salt as they still have to wait for the announcement of ABC for the renewal of the fairy tale television series.
