Way before Kalani Hilliker officially joined "Dance Moms," she and Maddie Ziegler were already good friends. So just because the "Chandelier" star has already left the Lifetime show, that does not mean that she will not have time to dance with her BFF.
Maddie Ziegler and Kalani Hilliker joined a dance class with Blake McGrath at the Millennium Dance Complex in LA earlier this week. "The Book of Henry" actress and the "Dance Moms" season 7 star proved that they could do more than just ballet, contemporary, lyrical, and acrobats by dancing to Ed Sheeran's upbeat song "Shape of You."

The young dancers wore comfortable dance outfits to perform the 26-year-old singer, songwriter, and record producer's latest hit.
Maddie Ziegler and Kalani Hilliker switched their usual pointed toes and sophisticated arm movements in "Dance Moms" to something quick, rugged, and less serious.
While the BFFs were taught by Abby Lee Miller to be as perfect and as technical as possible, Maddie Ziegler and Kalani Hilliker just enjoyed the steps and music during their Blake McGrath dance class and did not worry about perfectly mirroring each other. "The Book of Henry" actress and the "Dance Moms" season 7 star let themselves loose while the rest of the students/performers watched them in awe.
Kalani forgets 'Dance Moms' drama for awhile and joins Maddie in dance class
Meanwhile, there is so much drama circling "Dance Moms" right now following Chloe Lukasiak's return and Abby Lee Miller's exit from the show.
Although Kalani Hilliker is still a part of the Lifetime reality dance series, the 16-year-old dancer probably needed a little break from all the stress by taking a dance class with her BFF Maddie Ziegler.
Maddie Ziegler may have started her career from "Dance Moms," but the 14-year-old dancer, actress, and model has previously revealed that she will never go back to the show.
The "Ballerina" star shared that she was always stressed out at a very young age, and she is happy to be out of that environment now. The teen also added that she's switching her focus to acting right now.
“I’m really glad that I did move on from that, and I did learn a lot from her (Abby Lee Miller), and we did have some fun times. But I feel like now, I’ve never been happier in my life," Maddie Ziegler told People. “I was stressed at 11 years old, which shouldn’t happen!”
