Kingsman: The Secret Service” released the same year as “Spectre” - the 24th James Bond film. Either the James Bond franchise has begun to run out of fuel, or fans of British spy thrillers have started to hanker for something different. Either way, “Kingsman: The Secret Service” managed to out-Bond James Bond, and that is quite an accomplishment. Thanks to the enormous success of the first part, we now have a sequel that promises to be bigger and better in every way. The film has been titled “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” and it just released some major casting details.

Look who's joining Eggsy

The first Kingsman film had the element of surprise going in its favor, but in order to make a strong impact on the audience, the second installment decided to recruit some A-list actors.

Joining Taron Egerton, Colin Firth and Mark Strong in their endeavors will be Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, and Halle Berry. Matthew Vaughn, the director of the film, has openly recruited some strong names to take the franchise to the next level. He is clearly weary about sequels being churned out willy-nilly, which is why he is working towards making his new film unique. He said that he is aware of the plague known as "sequilitis", and he is being careful about not contracting it but not retreading on the work of the last film.

The team just got bigger

It looks like the three new recruits will be a part of the “Golden Circle” that has been referred to in the title. Channing Tatum will clearly be the muscle of the group, and according to reports, he will be assisted by some cool new gadgets such as an electric lasso that can slice right through people.

Jeff Bridges appears to be the brains of the operation, while Haley Berry will be providing technical support. The report also suggests that Merlin, played by Mark Strong, will develop a complex relationship with Halle Berry’s character, and that should be fun to watch.

Joining the new cast members will be other great actors like Pedro Pascal and Julianne Moore.

Pascal is set to play another member of the Golden Circle, while Moore will be the antagonist/super villain in this film.

Anyone who was excited after watching the first Kingsman film has plenty of reasons to be psyched about the sequel as well. The casting details are extraordinarily positive with some exciting names joining the new-age spy franchise. The film is set to release on September 29th, 2017 but stays tuned right have for more details until then.
