Katy Perry and Taylor Swift's squad member had a fun time during the interview, even recalling the time that the duo first met. While some find it cute and nice that Ed Sheeran can be BFFs with the 27-year-old superstar and also be friends with Katy Perry, a source revealed that it did not sit well with the "Blank Space" singer.
"Taylor and Ed go way back, which is why she was furious when she saw him cuddling up to her sworn enemy Katy Perry recently,” an insider revealed to OK! magazine, as reported by Celeb Dirty Laundry.
Taylor upset with Ed's friendship with nemesis and ex
As if that's not enough betrayal for the T-Swift squad, the source revealed that Ed Sheeran has also been hanging out with one of Taylor Swift's exes, Tom Hiddleston.
This was probably the last straw for the chart topper as the insider revealed that Ed will "definitely going to get a telling off" once Taylor gets a chance to talk to him.
Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran clearly have different takes about the squad. While the "Wildest Dreams" singer expects a high level of loyalty to the popular group, the 26-year-old singer, songwriter, and record producer feels that his friendship is not just exclusive to Taylor's chosen peers and that he is free to make friends with anyone that he wants.
