Actress Amber Heard has turned 31, and celebrated her birthday on the sets of “Aquaman.” Currently, the whole team is in Australia for filming several action sequences. The filmmaker James Wan and crew hooked her up with a cake.

In addition to “Aquaman,” Heard is busy in the shooting of “Justice League.” In this movie, she plays an energetic and talented girl, Mera. “Justice League” will swing into theaters this November, while in “Aquaman,” she’s playing the lead role opposite Jason Momoa. Born in 1986, Amber Laura Heard is best known for her works in “Friday Night Lights,” “North Country,” “Alpha Dog,” “Hidden Palms,” “Pineapple Express,” “Zombieland,” and “Drive Angry.”

‘Aquaman’ – an anticipated film

“Aquaman” is one of the most anticipated standalone movies.

We know that Jason Momoa is playing the King of Atlantis. It is the fifth film in DC's cinematic universe and gets a release date of October 5, 2018. Warner Bros. acquires the US and China distribution rights.

Most of the scenes are being shot in Australia, Queensland, and New York City. Soon the team will move to Italy to shoot several romantic scenes of Mera and Arthur Curry. Jason Momoa is reprising his role as Aquaman, having first appeared in “BvS” last year. Patrick Wilson is playing Orm, who is Aquaman's half-brother. By nature, he is an arrogant and rude guy. Orm plans to destroy the city and Aquaman is tasked to stop him from this evil mission.

The teaser trailers

So far, there is no official teaser trailer for "Aquaman." We don't know whether we will get the first look at the leading roles this year or not.

According to Comic Book, the first teaser trailer will be out immediately after the theoretical release of “Justice League” in November.

Unfortunately, there is no official synopsis for the movie yet, but Wan describes it as a swashbuckling action adventure.

The film has lots of visual effects and unmatched action sequences. The filmmaker James Wan has refused to comment anything on the plot. He is behind the blockbusters “Saw,” “Insidious,” “The Conjuring,” and their sequels. Wan was also forefront in the promotions of 2015 monster movie “Furious 7.”

Aquaman is a famous fictional superhero appearing in dozens of comic books by DC Comics.

It was first created by Mort Weisinger, in 1941. Since then, the character has been adapted for the big and small screens many times. Some famous projects include “Justice League Unlimited,” “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” “Smallville,” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
