After the enormous success of "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life", Netflix is considering to bring us more episodes of our beloved TV Show. "Gilmore Girls" first aired in 2000 and ended in 2007. However, after many demands from restless fans, Netflix decided to pick the show up for one "final" season.

"A Year In The Life" consisted of four 1-hour long episodes and it was absolutely amazing. Almost everyone from the original cast appeared on the show's revival, and both critics and fans loved the outcome of the collaboration with Netflix. Now, the question is: Will the show come back for another season?

Netflix is definitely interested in another season of 'Gilmore Girls'

Netflix's chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, was interviewed by the UK Press Association, and according to him the company is in early talks for a season two of "Gilmore Girls."

"The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more, and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that”, he shared in his interview. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but fans are already going crazy all over the internet, and we cannot blame them.

Amy Sherman-Palladino, the TV show's writer, has previously told that she's not ruling out anything from the future of "Gilmore Girls".

Alexis Bendel, who plays Rory Gilmore on the series, told in an interview earlier this year that anything is possible: "We want to tell a great story".

Rory's last four words on 'Gilmore Girls'

The ending of "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" definitely left a door open for the show to come back.

The last four words that Rory told to her mother in the final season, left us all craving for more. However, what Alexis' character shared works perfectly both as a conclusion and a cliff-hanger, which was clearly done on purpose.

Without a doubt everyone wants a little bit more of Lorelai and Rory's sense of humor and witty attitude; no one will deny a trip back to Stars Hollow. Whether or not more episodes of the "Gilmore Girls" are on the horizon, we keep our fingers crossed for a new season. Until then, all we can do is re-watch the old seasons on Netflix.
