The Weeknd shocked Bella Hadid with Selena Gomez relationship
Prior to dating Selena Gomez, The Weekend and Bella Hadid were pretty serious until November when the couple called it quits. When it was reported earlier this year that The Weeknd had moved on with Selena, Bella was floored.
While she and the "Starboy" singer were definitely broken up at the time, Bella wasn't convinced that their romance was over. Imagine what a shock to the gut it was to find out that The Weeknd and Selena Gomez were going out on dates when Bella Hadid wasn't even sure that she was ready to be rid of him for good.
Even though it's no secret that The Weeknd and Selena Gomez are an item, both are staying quiet about their romance when it comes to interviews. That said, Selena joined The Weeknd for a big chunk of his tour in Europe and even lingered in Paris with him after it was reported that Bella Hadid was also in town for Paris Fashion Week.

As for Bella, she admitted after her breakup with The Weeknd that it was hard to keep running into her ex-boyfriend.
While Bella has made a name for herself as one of America's current top models, The Weeknd has become a popular singer to do live performances during the runway shows. Not to mention that he likes to see the models strut their stuff as well.
Bella and her former boyfriend kept running into each other after the split and that may have been why Selena Gomez made sure she was in Paris at the same time The Weeknd and Bella Hadid were there.
She's never confirmed or denied that she headed to Paris to make sure that The Weeknd and Bella Hadid don't get a chance to see each other face to face and talk about the embarrassment of learning about his new relationship with Selena Gomez at the same time everyone else did.
