The fifth installment of the “Pirates of Caribbean” franchise, “dead men tell No Tales” new trailer was released last Thursday. The trailer not only looked exciting but also gives hope to Johnny Depp and his fans that this movie may put an end to his losing streak at the US box office.

Jack Sparrow in trouble in the new trailer of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’

The new trailer debuted on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and clearly shows Johnny Depp’s character, Jack Sparrow, is very much in trouble, as usual. The movie will include a number of thrills for the fans of the Pirates franchise.

The stars joining Depp are Javier Bardem (as the new nemesis Captain Salazar) and Orlando Bloom, along with many other names.

We get two Jack Sparrows in ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’

The latest trailer of “Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” shows a younger Jack Sparrow that runs afoul of Captain Salazar. The younger version of Jack Sparrow is completely unaware of what lies ahead. Salazar and his crew died while chasing the young pirate Sparrow and after many years, the ghosts of Captain Salazar and his crew come back to take revenge on all pirates and have a special hatred for Captain Jack.

The new “Pirates Of The Caribbean” trailer promises that the movie will be full of special effects and breathtaking action sequences and it looks like it will give something for the actor, Johnny Depp, to smile about.

A troubled 2016 for Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp had a miserable 2016 after his wife, Amber Heard, filed for divorce, accusing Depp of domestic violence. One of his most anticipated films “Alice through the Looking Glass” failed miserably at the box office, along with "Mortdecaiin 2015, and some started to write him off. “Forbes” later named him as the most overpaid actor of 2016 after a string of poorly performing films.

Some experts believe that since the divorce with Heard is settled, Johnny Depp will have more to offer. According to Ashley Cullins, a reporter with “The Hollywood Reporter,” Johnny has spent years of hard work to build his career and the nasty divorce he had with Amber will be forgotten soon.

The latest franchise of “Pirates of Caribbean” is directed by Espen Sandberg and Joachim Ronning and will be released on May 26, 2017.
