Just last week, right-wing social media sensation Tomi Lahren appeared on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" and got into a heated exchange with the rest of the panel over the 2012 attacks in Benghazi. After keeping it semi-cordial during the show, Lahren lashed out at Maher on Twitter over the incident.

Lahren on Maher

It was just over a week ago when Tomi Lahren appeared on "Real Time with Bill Maher," and took one for the team as the only Donald Trump supporter on the panel. While a variety of topics were discussed, one of the most interesting moments came when Missouri Democratic senate candidate Jason Kander, and Lahren got into a debate over the Benghazi attacks.

"I mean, you know pretty well you all used the people who died as political chess pieces for quite a few years," Kander said to Lahren, in reference to Republicans. Lahren fired back, accusing Hillary Clinton and Democrats of lying about the incident, while recycling old Republican talking points on the issue. While Lahren did impress by naming all of the Americans who lost their lives in Benghazi, neither side seemed convinced by one another. As seen on her Twitter account on February 11, Lahren is not letting the issue go.

During a conversation earlier this week with Kris Paronto, a former Army Ranger who survived the attack in Benghazi, Tomi Lahren addressed the incident on the ground.

As the two agreed for the entire interview, Lahren took a clip of the segment and posted it on Twitter on Friday. Attached to the video clip with a direct shot at Bill Maher and Jason Kander, with Lahren writing, "Kris explains Benghazi..are you listening Jason? Mr. Maher?"

Twitter backlash

Moments after Tomi Lahren sent out her tweet, social media users were quick to offer their thoughts.

"I've never seen anyone go on and on about 1 event the way you do about Benghazi," one Twitter user wrote. "@TomiLahren cant just call everything u dislike or don't agree with a lie. was one of the most investigated things in history," another tweet read.

"Mr.

Maher was listening last Friday when u were on his panel & you didn't have sh*t to say. Now you want to act like a bad ass?" another Twitter user asked. The comments kept coming, as the right-wing firebrand from The Blaze TV was mocked and trolled on her own Twitter feed.
