"The Walking Dead" season 7, episode 10 had a lot of interesting scenes. Not only did Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) fight a freaky walker named Winslow, but a deal was made with the Scavengers. In "New Best Friends," Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) reunited with a favorite fan character. However, he lied when asked about the Saviors. On "Talking Dead," the "TWD" actor revealed why Daryl hid the truth.

Daryl and Carol reunite on 'TWD'

On Sunday's episode of "The Walking Dead," Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) finally reunited. It was a sad moment when Daryl asked why she left. He really seemed lost, lonely, and heartbroken without her. Reedus compared it to a little boy wondering why his mother went away. Even though some fans believe "Caryl" should be a couple, it is clear that their relationship is much deeper and with a greater bond than anyone realized.

Carol Peletier explains why she left Alexandria

On "TWD," Carol said that she fled Alexandria because she couldn't lose anyone else.

She emphasized that she could not stand to lose Daryl Dixon. If anyone hurt or killed her Alexandrian family, she would have to retaliate. She didn't believe she would be able to come back from that.

Why did Daryl Dixon lie on 'The Walking Dead?'

When Daryl and Carol were talking, she asked about the Saviors. However, Dixon lied and told her that everyone in Alexandria was just fine. In an interview clip aired on "Talking Dead," Norman Reedus explained that he told Carol what she needed to hear. Even though the group could really use her help, fighting might cause even more mental anguish. Due to Daryl caring about her so much, he couldn't risk that happening. However, she will eventually find out.

When that time comes, will she help fight? What kind of effect will it have on her if she survives the war?

What do you think is going to happen with Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier on "The Walking Dead?" Do you believe he was right to lie about the Saviors? What is going to happen when she finds out the truth?
