George Clooney was a confirmed bachelor before he married Amal Alamuddin in September 2014. It was confirmed on February 9, 2017 that the couple is expecting Twins in June. Even though George has been married before, this will be the first children for both George and Amal.

No baby rumors this time

Baby rumors have followed the Clooneys for a long time. However, this time the news of Amal's pregnancy has been confirmed, according to Julie Chen on CBS' "The Talk." In 2015, when George was approached about having children, he joked that they were going to have triplets.

Little did he know at the time that he and his wife would be expecting twins just a couple of years later.

Since Amal is a barrister and can move around and work for a law firm anywhere, people are wondering where the twins will be raised. The Clooneys have houses in Studio City, California, Lake Como, Italy, and England. Therefore, they can end up at any one or all of those places.

People are happy for the Clooneys. Since the official news broke, congratulations have been pouring in for the 55-year-old actor and his 39-year-old attorney wife.

Another announcement about twins

People are beginning to wonder what's going on with multiple births in Hollywood. This is the second time within days that an announcement has been made about a celebrity having twins.

On February 1, Beyoncé announced she is pregnant with twins; however, she did not reveal when the babies are due.

A week before that, it was confirmed that Pharrell Williams and his model wife, Helen Lasichanh, had triplets in early January. Nothing more was revealed about the babies. Fans would like to know whether they are boys, girls, or a combination, as well as their names.

Madonna didn't give births to twins, but the 58-year-old pop star adopted four-year-old twin girls from Malawi and brought them home this week. She announced on social media that she is overjoyed that the adoption was finalized. She adopted two other children from Malawi in 2006 and 2009.
