Be careful, spoilers on Game of Thrones season 7 will follow! In the last episodes of "GOT" Season 6, we saw Sansa determining the result of the "Battle of the Bastards" when Littlefinger arrives with the Vale Knights to wipe out Ramsay Bolton's army. Shortly after Sansa meets Petyr again in the Godswood in Winterfell. Baelish tells her that he wants to rule Westeros with Sansa as his Queen and remarks her rights to rule the North. But, as the fans will recall, Jon is proclaimed King in the North. In the same occasion Petyr, who doesn't look pleased, stares at Sansa as if to remark that she should be the one in charge.
What is going to happen to Littlefinger and the Starks in Season 7?
The Starks are powerful again
According to what reported by the leaker "away forthleads," Littlefinger will try to manipulate Sansa once again. This time, however, he will not face just Sansa, but all the Starks. We know that both Bran and Arya will arrive at Winterfell during season 7, meaning that Jon, Sansa, Arya and Bran will be together again. This will represent a problem for Littlefinger: trying to trick the Starks while they're together can be extremely dangerous...
Petyr Baelish's fate
According to the leaker, Littlefinger will try to play Arya and Sansa against each other through the letter Sansa wrote to her brother Robb to suggest him to swear fealty to King Joeffrey Baratheon (Sansa was "prisoner" of Cersei, Joeffrey, and Littlefinger at the time).
Although Sansa and Arya are extremely different, they're still sisters: "The same blood flows through both your hearts," Eddard once told Arya. As you may easily guess, the Starks won't be played by Littlefinger's trick: Bran will help Sansa to figure out Littlefinger's plan.
What will happen to Baelish
You know how the North deals with traitors.
At the end of Season 7, Sansa will sentence petyr baelish to death. The executioner (just like Eddard would have suggested) will be one of the Starks. According to what the leaker wrote on Reddit, Arya is the one who will kill Petyr (maybe because Jon will be somewhere else at the time).
