Chip and Joanna Gaines have won over HGTV viewers' hearts on their show "Fixer Upper," but not everyone is thrilled with the couple. Chip and Jo are reportedly being sued after a patron at their Magnolia Market hit her head on a low-hanging steel rod that supports the picnic table canopies. Ouch!

The injury happened back in June as the patron allegedly suffered a head injury from the accident. AOL news states the woman claims she suffered "serious and permanent bodily injuries" as a result and is suing Chip and Jo Gaines for $100,000 to $200,000.

While lawsuits come hand-in-hand with being a business owner, this isn't the first time the "Fixer Upper" couple has been sued.

The couple's lawsuit history

It seems Chip and Jo's dream of owning a restaurant/ bakery has come with a bit of drama at Magnolia Market continues to be the center of lawsuits. It was reported in December that the HGTV stars were being sued for up to a whopping $1 million by their neighbor in Waco, Texas over a property dispute related to Magnolia Market.

The NY Daily News reported on the lawsuit as the drama between the Gaines family and their neighbor— Head Properties, LLC— unraveled. It seems the neighbor wanted to start charging Magnolia Market customers $10 to park on the adjacent property's parking lot, and Chip and Jo didn't want their patrons to think it was necessary to pay for parking.

So, Chip erected a gate between the two properties, and that's where things get a bit heated.

The manager of the property said Chip blocked access by placing the gate up and is suing to the tune of $200,000 to $1 million. So far, a judge has refused to order Chip to remove the gate as it's stated it doesn't restrict access to the parking space as people can simply enter the property from another driveway around the corner.
