“Bachelor” fans have been speculating about the potential of there being a Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell split on the horizon for a bit now, and gossip guru Reality Steve addressed the rumors via his blog not long ago.
He said that he isn't specifically aware of anything coming in terms of an official breakup announcement, but he also wasn't able to reveal anything compelling in terms of things being fine with the couple either.
Now Life & Style is claiming that Bushnell and Higgins have split and that it is only a matter of time before they announce it. The site claims that Ben and Lauren started having trouble before the holidays and that they struggled to get on the same page regarding numerous life decisions. Supposedly she misses Los Angeles a great deal and while he hoped she would come to love Colorado, where she moved in order to be with him, it just didn't happen.
Higgins and Bushnell have faced breakup buzz before
Granted, there have been “Bachelor” split rumors building for Ben and Lauren for months now, and the tense moments that played out for the couple during their spinoff show likely didn't help. Some fans started to speculate about trouble over the holidays when they seemed to spend a fair amount of time apart and the talk escalated again in recent weeks when Bushnell traveled quite a bit to spend time with her girlfriends, spent her birthday celebrating with girlfriends, and then took a trip to Mexico with her sister and her mom.
Despite the split rumors, both Ben and Lauren have posted on social media lately insisting that they are still together. Bushnell posted on Instagram noting that they aren't perfect, but they're trying, while Higgins slammed “fake news” detailing that they were having issues and he said that they are still together. “The Bachelor” fans certainly hope that Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell are still engaged and making things work and that the breakup rumors are false, but many do worry that there may be something to these rumors this time.
