"The young and the restless" spoilers reveal that the CBS soap opera is really heating up in 2017. According to We Love Soaps, it looks like the week of January 9 - 13 is going to be a dramatic one in Genoa City. As "Y&R" fans already know, 2017 kicked off with Devon being rushed to the hospital following his scary accident, Jack making plans to take down Fenmore's, and Chelsea and Nick possibly altering their relationship forever, not to mention Gloria's major drama.

More drama in Genoa City for 2017

According to the report, even more drama is in store for "The Young and the Restless" fans.

This week, Lauren will finally admit that she hasn't been honest with Michael, and it looks like a rocky road is ahead for the pair. Poor Nick will also be pushed to his breaking point this week, and a major face off is coming between Victoria and Jill with they finally square off.

Relationship drama, and dirty business dealings

On Monday, "The Young and the Restless" fans can expect to see Lauren finally confess to Michael, Phyllis open up to Billy, Ashley find Ravi and Phyllis together, and Jack meet with Gloria to figure out how the two can help him with his takeover attempt.

By mid-week, "Y&R" viewers will see Victor make a very big decision, Chloe completely taken Kevin by surprise, and Gloria is going back to her old ways.

Dylan will also return, Abby will discover her new passion, and Nick will finally hit his limit.

During the end of the week, "The Young and the Restless" fans will watch as Kevin will be forced to help out Gloria, Lauren will suspect that a corporate sabotage is happening, and Nick will face off with Sharon. Victoria and Jill will also have their confrontation; Lily is forced to play nice, and Devon will feel the consequences of his accident.

Trevor St. John headed to 'Y&R?'

Meanwhile, "The Young and the Restless" spoilers reveal that Trevor St. John has reportedly been cast in the role of Mariah's father. The former "One Life To Live" vet is allegedly set to take on the role of Frank Barritt, a character that both Mariah and her mother believe to be dead.
