The 35-year-old, who won the Tennis Grand Slam 22 times, showed off her huge bling to her followers on Thursday. Sporting a sizeable engagement ring, the many time sportswoman of the year, posted a picture of her with her beau dressed in matching color outfits, in which she tilted her head back accompanied by a cute leg pose.
Meanwhile, pictured standing next to her in the photo her fiancee Ohanian showed off his million dollar smile.
Last week, her engagement came as a surprise to her fans around the globe, the tennis star had kept her relationship hidden from everyone for nearly two years. In a cute post on Reddit, she announced her engagement to Ohanian and sent the social platform and her sports fans in a frenzy.
Earlier this week while the couple was in New Zealand accompanied by her older sister tennis star Venus Williams, Serena debuted her engagement ring to the world.
Serena and Ohanian's subtle hint on Halloween day
Although keeping their relationship private for the better part of two years - the newly engaged couple gave a subtle hint of their romance when a picture was posted on Instagram around Halloween day.
In the picture, Serena flaunted her derriere in her sexy pajamas with the words - BEAR CHEEKS - printed across her booty. "Bear Necessities," she wrote of Ohanian in his Halloween bear costume standing next to her in the cute picture.
Ohanian proposed to Williams on vacation in Rome
To confirm his engagement to Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian tweeted from his Twitter account to his followers that he was the 'luckiest nerd of all'.
And updated his Wikipedia page on which he wrote that he was now engaged to the mega tennis star.
Thanking all his fans for their love and support, the Reddit-cofounder, also introduced to his Armenian people; their new Armenian sister, while making reference to his heritage. The surprise engagement came as a surprise to Serena, who stated in a prose that she was whisked away to Rome, where Alexis Ohanian got down on one knee and proposed to her.
Notably, the soon-to-be Mrs. Ohanian is one of, if not, the most decorated women tennis players that have played the game professionally.
