Shahrukh Khan starer “Raees” was released on Jan 26, 2017, across the globe in more than 3300 screens. The movie features famous Pakistani actress mahira khan in female lead opposite king khan. The movie is an action thriller produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Gauri Khan and directed by Rahul Dholakia.
The film collected around Rs 10 crores on day one compared to Rs 10.43 crores of "Kaabil"
SRK plays a bootlegger and romances Mahira
The movie set in the 1980s and focuses the crime scene of 80s and 90s in the Indian state of Gujarat. SRK plays a clever bootlegger and a cruel gangster but with an entrepreneurial flair who has unregulated determination to succeed.
He is also a passionate love with a heart of gold.
He thinks ahead of time and straightens all curves, but his downfall starts as he comes across a police officer determined to eliminate the crime. The movie is a battle between the two.
Huge opening
The film is set for a record opening and is releasing worldwide covering more than 2500 screens in India and around 750 screens overseas. The movie is expected to rock the screens, and excellent results are expected on ticket window.

The trailers and song videos are highly expressive of the romantic chemistry shared by the lead pair.
The song “Zalima” has already taken the top of the charts. The movie is expected to earn around Rs 27 crores on the first day and will easily cross the hundred crore milestone in the weekend.
