There’s no doubt “Teen Wolf” will have fans pressing rewind over and over before the season 6 midseason finale. The current episodes are chockablock with clues to defeating the Ghost Hunters, but viewers will have to unwind a few yards of Stiles’ signature red string if want to connect the dots. MTV’s “Teen Wolf” is known for hiding clues in plain sight – Morse code in promos, deadly teasers in frescos – and the events of “Radio Silence” continued the trend.

Decrypting ‘Teen Wolf’’s messages

Right now, the Riders on the Storm have Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O’Brien) trapped in Train Station No.

137. A liminal space of sorts, the perpetual waiting room serves as a holding pen as victims transition from reality to whatever comes next. If you thought No. 137 sounded familiar, you were right. Lydia’s (Holland Roden) visions and Stiles’ experiences are beginning to intersect.

Lydia’s banshee powers kicked into overdrive as soon as her partner in crime went MIA. In fact, train horns blasted through her dreams in episode 2 at, get this, exactly 1:37 a.m. (see photo above). Coincidence? Of course not.

Although Lydia has yet to discover this connection – or a way to breach the veil without Stiles’ radio – the train station has gifted one more clue. Beacon Hill’s neighboring Cannan is the next stop for Scott’s pack and, like the rest of the towns on the arrivals board, the little suburb is a ghost town.

From western classics like Bodie and Bannack to the ancient civilizations of Harappa to ground zero of the 1980’s Chernobyl disaster, the arrivals board harbingers disaster for Beacon Hills.

Did you catch all those clues the first time around? Keep your eyes peeled for more when “Teen Wolf” airs episode 6.

What’s next on ‘Teen Wolf’?

Titled “Ghosted,” the Jan. 3 episode will put Lydia, Scott, and Malia (Shelley Hennig) in touch with another banshee. Unlike Beacon Hills’ teenage genius, this keening stranger might not be all that welcoming (see a preview below).

“Scott, Lydia and Malia search for clues about the Wild Hunt in a mysterious place called Cannan while Liam and Hayden take drastic measures in the fight against the Ghost Riders,” MTV teased.

“Teen Wolf” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
