Alright, so we recently got some new ,official spoiler scoops in from the FOX folks for their upcoming "Empire" episode 7 of season 3, and judging from this description, it sounds like it'll be a pretty mellow episode in comparison to the first 6 episodes. I do sense that there will be a little drama, sprinkled in as Cookie confronts some old secrets about her father that she has tried to hide. We'll also see Cookie, trying hard to impress Angelo's mother, and more.
A huge dinner party is in the works
This episode has been given the title: "What We May Be." That could be in reference to Angelo and Cookie's budding relationship.
Who knows? Anyways, in the official synopsis, we're told , in bold caps, that Cookie is going to be throwing a huge dinner party at some point. So, I'm guessing that will be one of the main storylines for this episode.
Cosby Show's Phylicia Rashad is guest starring
We'll see Cookie actually turn to Candace to get some advice on how to put together a really elaborate dinner, so she'll definitely be looking to impress somebody, and that somebody will apparently be Angelo's mother, Diane (played by guest star: Phylicia Rashad from the old Cosby Show days). It sounds like things will be getting pretty serious between Cookie and Angelo if family members are showing up.
Cookie deals with hidden secrets
Next, it's revealed that we'll see more of Cookie in the plotline as she watches some old home videos that end up, causing her to have to confront some secrets about her relationship that she has been hiding from her kids. They don't elaborate about these mysterious secrets, so I find it pretty intriguing, and it should make for a very interesting arc in this episode.
Andre tries something really different
Then lastly, we're going to see Andre attempt to get two artists to team up for a surprising duet at some point. That's all FOX gave us in their press release, but we do know more stuff will be shown, because Bre-Z is supposed to show back up to deliver some more Freda Gatz action. We'll also see that mega fine Serayah chick back on the scene to deliver more Tiana scenes.
I'm guessing we'll also see some new Rhonda ghost scenes as her portrayer, Kaitlin Doubleday, is due to show up in this episode at some point.
Also, guys. Be sure to lookout for another exciting promo/spoiler clip to drop after episode 6 airs tonight. It should deliver up some nice visual details of what episode 7 will look like.

To close things out, we got some bad news. There's another delay scheduled for next week, so episode 7 is not scheduled to air until Wednesday night, November 30th at 8pm central time, so be sure to make note of that.
