The Daily Star quizzed the singer Nick Jonas on his sexuality, and his answer left many people wondering about the constant rumors about him. When asked if he had ever hooked up with guys in the past, Nick answered, "I can't say if I have or haven't, but if you watch [Kingdom] you'll see more of that."

Nick Jonas has always been pretty mum about his personal life, and with this new interview the speculation and rumors going on about his sexuality are only going to increase.

But let’s take a look at the truth behind the rumors:

Nick Jonas' dating life

The singer has been linked to the most beautiful women in the industry.

Singer and actress Miley Cyrus has stated that she dated Jonas from June 2006 to December 2007. Cyrus claimed they were "in love" and began dating soon after they first met.

Jonas dated musician Selena Gomez in 2008.

During a recent trip to Watch What Happen Live, Nick’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, even found herself sounding off on the unsubstantiated gay rumors.

When host Andy Cohen asked Gomez point blank how gay she though Nick was on a scale of one to ten, Selena didn’t hesitate to immediately dispel the question as pure nonsense,“I dated him… Zero.”

Jonas began dating Australian actress and singer Delta Goodrem in May 2011; they broke up in February 2012. Goodrem has said that it was a genuine love.

As of August 2013, he was dating Miss Universe 2012, Olivia Culpo, whom he met at the 2013 Miss USA competition. In June 2015, he announced they had broken up.

He has recently been making rumors as he has been spotted numerous times with Kate Hudson

Gay Roles

Nick Jonas is no stranger to being close to his gay side, his two current acting projects — Kingdom and Scream Queens both cast him on gay roles. He regularly appears in gay clubs to promote his music, and he even stepped in to save Pittsburgh Pride last summer after Iggy Azalea was uninvited.

Speaking about his gay fan base, Nick has said, “There’s a thing of recognizing that you have gay fans, as a male artist. I was speaking to some of my very close gay friends as I was making the record, and they told me I should really make the effort to embrace my gay audience as it’s bigger than I might think. There should be more of it. There should be more heterosexual male artists who are comfortable to attract a gay audience and do it in a way that’s authentic. With me, it comes from a very genuine and loving place.”

 Conclusion

I think the singer/actor is totally straight but he isn’t narrow.

Maybe he is only experimenting with his gay side just for TV while playing his characters.

Him refusing to talk about the rumors only helps both his music career and his TV shows ratings.
