Luann D'Agostino announced last Thursday via her Twitter account that she and her husband would be divorcing after seven months of marriage. She was convinced that this marriage was the right thing to do for her when she married him on New Year's Eve 2016. Many people had warned her about him and his flirtatious ways, and she had just caught him cheating two nights before their engagement party earlier in 2016.

Luann wanted to get married and make the marriage work, but it sounds like Tom didn't exactly feel the same way.

When Luann filed for divorce on Thursday, many people wondered why she decided to do it now. For months, she's had to endure rumors that her husband was cheating and that they were simply miserable in the relationship. Luann, on the other hand, went on “Watch What Happens Live” and revealed that she and Tom were actually very happy. It sounds like she wanted the world to know that she was happy and he was faithful. In her divorce statement, D’Agostino never revealed why they were getting divorced, but there are plenty of theories as to why she's ending the marriage.

Why the rush?

So why is Luann getting divorced now? She hasn't revealed a reason why they filed jointly for divorce in Sag Harbor on Thursday, but one can imagine it has something to do with Tom's cheating and his reputation. Luann D’Agostino believed he was being faithful the entire time that they were married, but stories always seemed to surface about him being spotted with other women. The latest encounter was just last weekend when he was supposedly texting an ex-girlfriend, and he met up with her Sag Harbor as D’Agostino was with her friends.

Is she still convinced he never cheated?

While she refused to do believe the rumors because they are married, one can imagine that it was Tom's decision to reach out to these ex-girlfriends.

If this is the case, it could explain why she filed for divorce. She may be very angry with her husband for reaching out to other women as he has agreed to stay faithful to her. As for Luann, she may be getting tired of always defending her marriage and Tom's, as he's not even on the same page as her. One has to wonder what she will say on the next season of "The Real Housewives of New York," when her co-stars will surely question her about her failed marriage and why things went sour over something they had already warned her about.

What do you think Luann D’Agostino filing for divorce? Are you surprised that she filed for divorce with him in Sag Harbor after seven months of marriage?
