The much-anticipated season of "Bachelor in Paradise" started airing Monday night on ABC. Many fans of the show knew that something had happened earlier during the summer that had caused production to completely shut down.

They knew it had something to do with DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios. All they knew was that Corinne kept using the word victim in regards to a flirtatious encounter with DeMario, while he was being portrayed as someone who had done something without her consent.

Reports also surfaced that that stated that the couple had been heavily intoxicated and that something had happened when all of the other people were busy doing something else.

Investigation found nothing

When the production of the show shut down, all of the cast members returned home. ABC and Warner Bros. weren't sure if they wanted to continue with the show, as they didn't want to send the wrong signal to their fans and their contestants. However, it sounds like they were able to complete an investigation that concluded that no harm was done to anyone.

Even though Corinne had hinted that she was a victim and that she felt like she had done nothing wrong, it sounds like DeMario was being accused of something he didn't do.

While he never said anything publicly about what really happened it sounds like people are jumping to the conclusion that he might've tried to have sex with her without her consent. While she was mentally present at the time, she may have been too drunk to give consent. This seems to be what people are concluding happened between the two stars of the reality show, but the producers had to go back and look at the tapes to see if anything happen that wasn't supposed to happen. While she was present at the time, she may have been too drunk to give consent. This seems to be what people are concluding happened between the two stars of the reality show, but the producers had to go back and look at the tapes to see if anything happen that wasn't supposed to happen.

After the investigation, DeMario's name was cleared and the show could continue on without the two contestants. However on "Bachelor in Paradise" the tape was not shown. Nothing surfaced that appeared to be remotely wrong.

What fans saw

The only thing fans saw was Corinne and DeMario in a pool together, after they had been drinking. One of the contestants made the comment that Corinne was wearing her clothes when she jumped in the pool, which could hint that she was a little bit intoxicated. However, none of the contestants didn't act any differently towards her, as she didn't seem to send the signals that something had happened to her.

It sounds like viewers of "Bachelor in Paradise" won't ever hear the true story of what happened.

Chris Harrison and the ABC network have revealed that they will not be releasing the footage of the night in question. They want to protect their contestants and they want to make sure that the investigation that was conducted after production shutdown is respected. While people can jump to conclusions, it sounds like the producers of the show and the two contestants are the only ones that know what really happened.

What do you think about the way "Bachelor In Paradise" handled the entire situation? Do you think fans should have been told what happened and let them judge for themselves, or do you think that would have been crossing the line?
