The saying “you don’t know what you got till it’s gone”, could not ring truer for the United States of America right now. Celebrity and business man Donald Trump, was elected the new president of the United States to succeed President Barack Obama. Since Trump has been in office, he has shown exactly why it is crucial to take elections seriously. Now most, if not all Americans, are realizing how great of a president Barack Obama was and desperately wish he could have had a third term.
President Barack Obama
Barack Obama was the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017.
He was the first African American president and probably the most disliked president by republicans in congress. Obama however, was/is loved deeply by most of the American people and currently is missed tremendously by probably all of America. Obama has a “cool” swag and confident walk that always gives off this easily approachable appeal that people love. He has a way of making you believe that even if things seem in disarray, never lose hope and trust all things will work out for the better.
Obama’s qualities become ever the more evident each time Trump has a news conference or sends out a tweet. Trump has this way of constantly blaming others for things that he should take accountability for like last week when he blamed Obama for the leaks that have happened within his administration.
Obama always took the mature adult approach to handle things while he was in office, and never singled out certain individuals as the cause for issues that occurred that he as leader of the free world should have a handle on.
He's moved on
Barack doesn’t seem to be fazed by any of the commotion that Trump has caused in the U.S..
He took a long and much deserved vacation with his wife on Richard Branson’s island, and then when he finally reemerged in the states, he looked well rested, tanned and cooler than he ever has before. Every recent photo you see of him, he’s smiling brightly and giving off a beaming sunshine like glow that we Americans lost on January 20th.
His recent photos also could indicate that he doesn't miss running America as much as America misses him. We can’t get Barack back as U.S. president but giving how much he loves this country, I know we the American people can depend on him to be at the forefront fighting for the betterment of our great nation.
