On his Twitter, Donald J. Trump said that the upcoming meeting between him and North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un is very much in the making and will be, if completed, a very good one for the World.

If you are not aware of this meeting, the leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un, offered the U.S. president a personal meeting and Donald Trump agreed, reported Chon Yi Yong, South Korea's national security adviser on Thursday, March 8.

He noted that the North Korean leader expressed the desire to "meet with President Trump as soon as possible". South Korean officials said that the DPRK is ready to seek the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, as well as to negotiate with the US and during this time, will suspend nuclear and missile tests.

On the same day, the meeting was confirmed by White House representative, Sarah Sanders. She said that the place and time will be determined.

Trump is confident in the great success of negotiations with the DPRK

The President of U.S., Donald J. Trump, mentioned that he believes in denuclearization on the Korean peninsula. The American leader noted that North Korea has not conducted missile tests since late November 2017 and North Korea leadership promised not to do so during the talks.

He mentioned it in his Twitter earlier:

Also, Trump expects positive results and peace for Korean peninsula. He says that the meeting will not only de-escalate tension relating to potential war between the two countries, but will change North Korea for the better.

He shared his mind on Twitter, where he had a quarrel with Alec Baldwin [VIDEO] and other Hollywood celebrities.

Two presidents will meet in North Korea

South Korean officials suggested, that the meeting will be set in Pyongyang and explained this choice by the fact that it was Kim Jong-un who initiated the meeting.

In addition, the North Korean leader has not left the country for a long time now, except for Russia and China.

Another possible place is the Demilitarized Zone of the Korean peninsula or South Korea, but the sources insist that the meeting on the territory of the DPRK is now being worked out as a priority option. It is expected that Kim Jong-un will offer Trump the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. The fact that the meeting of the presidents of the United States and North Korea will not involve third countries (in this case, South Korea), was confirmed by the Mayor of the South Korean city of Kwangmyong, Yang Ki Da.

This will be the first meeting with North Korea leaders and a sitting president of the U.S, in history.
