25-year-old Adea Shabani is an aspiring actor who lives in Los Angeles. According to a statement released by Los Angeles Police Department, Adea was last seen on February 23, 2018, at 11:00 AM. Her family and the police are currently looking for her. The family has offered a $25,000 reward for anyone who has information on her whereabouts. The family has also hired a private investigator to help find their daughter.

No leads on Adea's whereabouts

According to Jayden Bryant, the private eye, Adea was last seen at a nearby coffee shop she frequented.

The investigator told Dateline that she had been communicating with her friends via texts. The texts were consistent and normal until the time of disappearance. She went silent, and no one has heard from her again. The LAPD was unable to give more information on Adea's case, according to Dateline.

After a few attempts to contact her, her friends became worried but thought she had only gone for the weekend. Her friends became more concerned when she didn’t show up for class. According to them, Adea was very excited about the class. Bryant told Dateline that after reviewing the school records and talking to her friends, he found out that this was the first time she missed a class.

After missing the class, the group of friends went to the LAPD office to request a welfare check at Adea's apartment.

They did not find her. Most of the classmates describe Adea as an energetic person who valued her studies and would never miss class. She was very responsible.

Family and friends call for help in finding their loved one

Jayden Bryant told Dateline that Adea’s case is being treated as a missing person homicide since there is no evidence to suggest that she would voluntarily run away or take her own life.

The police have continued to search the Hollywood area since her disappearance. Her friends and family have put up missing person posters all over the city and are still asking for any information about her. One of her friends, Geoffrey Scholl, told Dateline that they just want to see and hear from her again so anyone who has any information should come forward and help find her.
