Anything and everything relating to climate change, including the term itself, continues to disappear from the website of the Environmental Protection Agency. The current administration has endorsed radical methods to intervene in Earth’s climate systems, such as geoengineering, while also denying the need for any such measures. The epa doesn’t do its job very well. While a great many have been convinced that our planet is not warming and that wildlife species are not going extinct at an unprecedented rate, nothing could be further from the truth.
Climate change hypocrisy
Take note that the Trump administration has endorsed geoengineering, a radical form of climate intervention that seeks to mitigate the effects of the anthropogenic warming of the planet. Playing God with the weather in such a way could cause unintended, catastrophic, irreversible damage. And if the Earth is in great shape, there’s no need to even think about it, right?
So why has the administration publicly endorsed a plan to slow climate change? Could it have anything to do with the fact that Rex Tillerson, former CEO of Exxon Mobil, is the Secretary of State? Do oil companies and others within the fossil fuel industry know that their activities are having a detrimental impact on the planet?
If so, that would certainly explain their bizarre behavior of denying something exists while also committing efforts to stop it. Removing information from the EPA website would be one factor in this regard.
Federal gag order on NOAA and others
What does the federal gag order on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the National Weather Service, and The US Department of Commerce have to do with all of this?
For those unaware of this illegal gag order, search under the term, “federal gag order NOAA”. In 2015, a gag order was placed on employees of all the aforementioned agencies. They have been stripped of their first-amendment rights when it comes to speaking out about what’s happening with the biosphere. If there's nothing to worry about, why would this be the case?
Do they know something about geoengineering that needs to be kept a secret?
It’s worth noting that the EPA doesn’t really do a whole lot to protect the environment. They have caused quite a few catastrophes, one of which was the three million gallon mine spill into the Animas River that occurred in Colorado back in 2015, according to the Denver Post. So an agency tasked with safeguarding the environment has polluted it in the past. This looks a lot like the government agencies of Orwell’s 1984, such as the Ministry of Truth, that manipulate history and world events to suit the purposes of the elite. Sometimes an organization does the exact opposite of what its name suggests.
By removing references to climate change from its website, as noted by wqad.com, the EPA could be doing just that, perhaps in a more profound way than directly polluting the planet itself.
By omitting the term and everything related to it, deniers will only feel more reinforced with their cognitive dissonance.
It's not all fake news
Carbon credits are a scam, and Al Gore is a disaster capitalist. That doesn’t mean that Earth’s life support systems aren’t failing. It doesn’t mean the biosphere isn’t imploding all around us. Species extinctions are exploding off the charts. According to Brown University, species die off at a rate 1,000 times higher than in the past. In the last fifty years, the Earth has lost over half of all wildlife species that have been known to exist in modern times. As much as eighty-percent of all insects have disappeared in many areas. And the oceans are in the worst shape of all – a topic that could have an entire article or more devoted to it.
Of course, the EPA doesn't seem to have much to say about any of this.
Don’t take my word for it. Look into all these issues for yourself. Search for hard scientific data such as can be found on skepticalscience.com. Cleantechnica.com notes that skeptical science provides a long list of scientific data which clearly refutes practically all climate change denier arguments.
In short, the EPA has done a great disservice to humanity by eliminating these issues from its website.
