Donna Brazile reveals the extent of Hillary Clinton corruption at the DNC

Donna Brazile has served a number of roles in the Democratic Party. She was, for example, Al Gore’s campaign manager. Her most recent office was as the interim chairperson of the Democratic National Committee, starting on July 24, 2016, when Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned from that position in disgrace. She has set forth what she found in a new book, “Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns that Put Donald Trump in the White House.” An excerpt from the book describes the shocking extent to which Hillary Clinton and her team had “taken over” the DNC before she won the presidential nomination.

Generally, a presidential candidate does not gain control of the party apparatus until after he or she clinches the nomination.

Donna Brazile was shocked, shocked about Hillary Clinton’s corrupt practices.

Brazile, when she took over the DNC, found out that the Democratic Party was on the verge of financial collapse. The reason for this state of affairs was that the Hillary Clinton campaign, with the passive cooperation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, had seized control of the DNC and its fundraising apparatus and was using money usually reserved for down-ballot races for its own purposes. Brazile found a smoking gun document in the form of an agreement that in exchange for fundraising for the DNC, the Hillary Clinton campaign would for all intents and purposes take control of the Democratic Party.

The arrangement had the effect of freezing out Bernie Sanders, who was a serious contender for the presidential nomination at the time.

What did Donna Brazile know and when did she know it?

Hot Air suggests that Brazile is being a little coy about her depiction of herself as uncovering this corruption only when she took over the DNC. She has been a Democratic Party insider since the 1984 Mondale campaign and had also served as a political analyst for CNN. She was accused of slipping Hillary Clinton one of the questions during one of the primary debates when she still worked for CNN, suggesting that when Clinton was gaming the system, it was with Brazile’s help.

What is really going on here?

Brazile has thrown Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Hillary Clinton under the bus for their incompetent, nefarious doings during the 2016 campaign cycle.

Mostly because of Clinton’s failure to become president, the future of the Democratic Party resides in Bernie Sanders, a hard left wing candidate. Brazile, who would really like to retain her standing in the party, has knifed Team Hillary, and has demonstrated that she can be useful to the new leaders of the Democrats.
