President Donald Trump allegedly created and dictated the press statement issued in the name of his son Donald Trump Jr., who is under media scrutiny because of the recent email leaks. Trump’s recent press statement misleadingly downplayed the 2016 alleged meeting between Trump Jr. and Kremlin lawyer.
Donald Trump’s involvement in his son's statements
According to a recent report from Washington Post, the 45th President of the United States of American personally intervened to prevent senior White House advisers that prevented the senior advisors from revealing the truth behind the alleged meeting between his son and Russian lawyers on June 9, 2016.
The alleged meeting took place between Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, Donald Trump Jr. and Paul Manafort with four Russians. Among those four Russians, one visitor was lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.
According to the report, which is based on several anonymous sources, has the potential to create more problems for Donald Trump and his presidency. Recently, he was also accused of having an affair behind Melania Trump’s back at his Mar-a-Lago resort. The further scrutiny from the media over the alleged Russian meetings would be the last thing which President Trump wants at this hour.
Is Trump under problem for designing his son’s alibi?
Earlier in July this year, New York Times managed the copies of the email exchanges between Trump Jr.
and Natalia. In the emails, she claimed that she had information that allegedly jeopardizes Hillary Clinton’s chances of winning the 2016 presidential election.
As a counter-measure to all the reports, Trump Jr. posted screenshots of the emails on his Twitter and added that he wants to be completely transparent with everyone involved in this.
Soon after that, President took to his Twitter to share his views on his son’s tweets.
My son Donald did a good job last night. He was open, transparent and innocent. This is the greatest Witch Hunt in political history. Sad!

However, now Washington Post reports that Trump Jr.’s disclosure on Twitter was their way to avoid any future catastrophe.
The recent revelations suggest that when the president was traveling back from the G7 Summit, he seemingly dictated the content of a statement that would be released in public, which will claim that the 2016 meeting in question was to discuss a program to help Russian children getting a proper adoption.
If these reports are proved to be true, then it could place the president and his presidency under very tough spot.
Meanwhile, Trump Jr.’s attorney, Alan Futerfas, stated that he has no evidence to support the theory that suggests president’s involvement in the released statements.
