Moscow threatening with the use of chemical weapons?

Russian deputy Vyacheslav Nikonov stated that Moscow will use nuclear weapons against the US if they attempt to enter Crimea. "If US and NATO attempt to enter Crimea by force, Russia can't defend itself without nuclear weapons," Nikon said at GLOBSEC's Global Security Forum in Bratislava.

Putin revealed a new futuristic tank

Nikonov said that he heard these words from the Russian army.

He added that "the West is not just the power of the good" and that he is concerned about the lack of interaction between Russia and the US to find a political solution. Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yuriy Borisov recently said he will rebuild the missile brigade until 2020, and President Vladimir Putin revealed a new futuristic tank that would be "invisible" to missiles and be able to destroy targets at an 8-kilometer distance.

Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 during a political crisis under the impression that instability in the region threatened Moscow's interests and the great Russian ethnic community in Crimea.

Nikon has stated that NATO has an army in 400 different places along the border and that some have been supplied with nuclear weapons.

The United States imposed sanctions

Russia is preparing an answer to US sanctions against some Russian companies and individuals because of alleged connections with North Korea, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Rjabkov said, as the RIA agency reports. Rjabkov has estimated that this move does not contribute to restoring relations between Moscow and Washington. The United States announced on Thursday a new sanction for suppliers of the North Korean nuclear program that the UN has banned, including two Russian companies and a Russian official.

The US Finance Ministry has announced that it will introduce sanctions for six legal and three private persons "in response to the current development of weapons of mass destruction in North Korea and its continued violation of UN Security Council resolutions," the statement said.

These sanctions will freeze all the assets of persons sanctioned, and prohibit the Americans from trading with them.

Vladimir Putin said on Friday that Donald Trump led a better presidential campaign than Hillary Clinton and that US intelligence services could have easily falsified the evidence that Russia hacked the Democratic Party. Addressing the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, Putin said hacking charges were just a "damaging trap" that disrupted international relations and global security.
