It happened on a warm summer’s evening in central London, as three terrorists in a white van plowed through pedestrians on London Bridge, then headed into Borough Market close by, stabbing people at random. Six people are dead and just under 50 injured in the murderous rampage. This is the third Terror Attack in the U.K. in under three months.
White van drives into pedestrians on London Bridge
The incident started just after 10 p.m. when a white van drove at speed into a crowd of pedestrians on the London Bridge. The three terror suspects in that van then randomly stabbed people using 12-inch knives in the Borough Market close by.

The BBC quotes the London Ambulance Service as saying 48 people were transported to five hospitals in London, while a number of victims of the terror attack were treated at the scene.
However a statement released by the Metropolitan Police on Sunday morning quotes 20 people taken to hospital.

One witness at the London Bridge incident said he heard three men shouting the words “this is for Allah” as the terror suspects randomly stabbed people.
Shortly prior to midnight, police investigated a third incident in the Vauxhall area of the city, but established that it was not related. Reportedly on Sunday morning the London Bridge and Borough Market area remains cordoned off as their investigations continue.
According to the BBC, many workers are struggling to get to work.
Three U.K. terror attacks in three months
This is the latest terror attack in the U.K. within months. On March 22 another terrorist drove into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and then stabbed a police officer outside the Parliament buildings. Six people were killed in that incident, including the terrorist, while 50 people were injured. Less than two weeks ago on May 22, the Manchester Arena suicide bombing occurred, killing 22 people and injuring 116.
