The scorpion story

United Airlines Flight 1035 from Houston to Ohio was postponed on Thursday after a scorpion was reported crawling from a passenger's clothes. Until now, it was not revealed how the scorpion got on that flight. However, FlightAware reported that on the same day, that flight came from Costa Rica and immediately the flight attendants captured the venomous creature and flushed it in the airplane's toilet.

In Calgary, paramedics waited at the gate for the man who was stung by the scorpion. Later, the couple confirmed in an interview with CNN that United Airlines reached out to them and gave an undisclosed compensation.
