Designer label Sherri Hill has once again headlined the New York Fashion Week through a collection of long gowns and cocktail dresses. Miss Universe 2016, Iris Mittenaere from France, was featured during the show, the brand’s official website reported.

Sherri Hill joins the New York Fashion Week annually as it introduces new additions to their collection. During its most recent show, the label featured a more daring set of the finely-designed ensemble. The collection was generally comprised of strapless necklines, spaghetti straps, and revealing cuts.

The show opened with a series of red gowns and dresses. These red-colored pieces were either plain or had huge floral prints displayed over the skirts. The collection then transformed into a series of white-colored dresses.

In the middle of the Sherri Hill fashion event, the designers also introduced golden gowns and cocktail dresses. They featured various sparkling embellishments that exuded the vibe of a party. The entire ensemble also had some variety with long sleeve formal wear, two-piece apparel, a series of pinks and mermaid fish tails.

Iris Mittenaere, the incumbent Miss Universe from France headlined the runway as she wore an aqua-colored gown with a mermaid cut. She was crowned in January 2017 in the pageant held in the Philippines.

Top celebrity seen at the Sherri Hill show

The daughter of renowned actor Jamie Foxx, Corinne Bishop was also part of the line-up of models who sashayed the Sherri Hill creations. E! News reported that Foxx was present among the audience during the show to support his daughter.

He was also spotted this week at the Hand in Hand Hurricane charity event where money was raised for victims of the recent storms.

Sherri Hill creates fashion pieces for women of all ages. She was originally a prom dress designer in her home state. Her brand has been partnering with the Miss Universe and Miss USA organizations through the years, the official website noted.

Today, her business is connected to over 1,000 stores in over 30 countries worldwide. The company recently launched their new corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas. They also have a showroom in Atlanta.
