Is anything open on Presidents Day 2017? What's closed on Monday?

• Post Office: There is no mail delivery on February 20 and all post office branch offices will be closed. Priority Mail Express and some Amazon packages may be delivered.
• Banks: The Federal Reserve is closed on Presidents Day and most major banks including Chase, Bank of America will not be open. However, if you bank with TD Bank, all of their branch offices will be open on Monday.
• Government Offices: Most offices will be closed including Social Security, Federal courts, the IRS, and the Social Security Administration. Expect to find state offices closed as well including the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Stock Market: Right Line reports that Nasdaq and the NYSE will be closed on February 20.

What's open on Monday?

• Retail stores and malls: Expect to find most retail stores open on Monday including Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Macy's, Costco, JC Penney, Victoria's Secret, American Eagle, GAP, and Old Navy. Many retailers will be offering Presidents Day sales throughout the long weekend so download a deal app like Retail Me Not and shop 'til you drop.
• FedEx, UPS — Although the U.S. Post Office is closed, if you have a delivery coming via FedEx or UPS, you're in luck. Both delivery companies will be open for business on Presidents Day.
• Grocery and liquor stores: Open on Monday although some may have special holiday hours.
• Restaurants and movie theaters: Open on Monday. Call ahead for hours.
