If you haven't done your Christmas shopping yet, there's still time. Although the cutoff times for shopping online may be too close to risk, several big-box retailers will stay open 24-hours a day right through to Christmas Eve so you can shop 'til you drop morning, noon, or night.
All Walmart Superstores will be open 'round the clock all week. But you won't be limited to shopping at Walmart — two major retailers will stay open 24-hours a day starting on Tuesday, December 20 and ending late in the day on Christmas Eve.
And if that's not enough, at least six additional big-box stores will stay open as late as 10 p.m. on December 24.
Which stores will be open 24/7 until Christmas Eve?
In addition to Walmart Superstores, shoppers will find most Kohl's and Toys R Us stores open for business around-the-clock this week, with Kohl's kicking off the non-stop shopping on Tuesday.
According to AZ Family, Kohl's stores will open up at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20 and won't close their doors until Saturday, December 24 at 6 p.m.
Toys R Us is once again pulling out all the stops and making sure families can get the toys they need at any hour of the day starting on Friday.
Although you may not find the must-have Hatchimals in stock, there are plenty of other toys that children want at the popular toy retailer. All stores will open non-stop for 39 hours starting at 6 a.m. on Friday, December 23 and ending on Christmas Eve (December 24) at 9 p.m.
Of note, all Walmart stores will close their doors at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve — even the Supercenter locations.
Other stores open late on Christmas Eve
The Balance reports that there are a number of stores that will stay open late on Christmas Eve. Although they won't be open 24-hours during the days leading up to Christmas, you will have plenty of time to get some last-minute stocking stuffers and gifts at these stores well into the evening on December 24.
Target and KMart will close at 10 p.m., while JCPenney, Sears, Dillards, and Macy's will close their doors a little earlier at 6 p.m.
If you can't make it to any of the stores listed above and can't show up to Christmas dinner empty-handed, you can usually find gift cards and other small gift items at 7-11 stores and 24-hour CVS Pharmacy stores.
