A new video game is set to arrive this year. "Tom Clancy’s The Division 2" is about to launch this year with a private beta coming on Feb. 7-11. Before its scheduled beta release next month, game publisher Ubisoft has made some important announcement regarding the upcoming action role-playing game.

As mentioned earlier by Game Spot, Ubisoft has confirmed that there will be two forms of PvP multiplayer onboard. The new game will also include three Dark Zones, namely the East, West, and South. All of these Dark Zone areas will contain different layouts, features, and landscapes.

In those Dark Zone areas, players will be able to choose to take actions against other players in the game, Ubisoft said.

Ubisoft has made a more detailed explanation about what the new Dark Zone will bring to the game. The Dark Zone is the PvP element of the game where players could be able to enter and perform aggressive actions against other players. These include entering into certain missions and doing some activities to score gear. However, the Dark Zone is a hostile ground, which means that players can’t trust each other. All of the players have the same goal - to secure all of the loot for themselves and stay alive throughout the game. This means that anyone can be hostile or rogue.

Ubisoft also added that there are three statuses players can hold if they attack other players in one area of the Dark Zones.

"The Division 2" will also feature a second form of PvP play, which the publisher said will be a more traditional, organized multiplayer. Ubisoft called Conflict and it will bring two gameplay modes, the Domination and Skirmish.

Domination will focus more on capturing objectives and defending from other players, while Skirmish is all about sudden deathmatch. Ubisoft has also added three maps for both modes. These are the Capital Ruins, Stadium, and Georgetown. For more about this new game, please check out the video below.

"The Division 2" will take place in the nation’s capital, Washington D.C. Players will enter the civil war America and work with other players to complete some missions. Additionally, this new game will also feature raids, which can be played by up to 8 players, according to Ubisoft.

"The Division 2" was first announced to the gaming world on March 9, 2018. It received its first gameplay footage at last year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo event. The game will be launched on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 15, 2019.
