Battle Royale games like "Playerunknown’s Battleground" (PUBG) and "Fortnite" are on the rise. However, these games have not just got bigger and popular. They have also helped other gaming companies grow stronger and get richer.

According to ComicBook, the two battle royale behemoths have helped headset firm Turtle Beach achieve a record-high revenue. The two widely popular games on the planet have driven profit to a new level for a headset specialist Turtle Beach. That’s according to Turtle Beach CEO Juergen Stark, who claimed that these shooters have driven new users into the gaming world.

In its recent company's sales report, the headset manufacturer claimed that its net revenue for the year grew an impressive 218 percent. It’s now hovering around $60.8 million, a mere rise from the $19.1 million revenue it has posted the previous year. That figure marks the highest for the headset manufacturer since it went IPO in 2014.

Battle Royal games like "Fortnite" and "PUBG" will continue to gain strength and grow, without any sign of slowing down. The successes of these two Battle Royale games and their innovative battle royale gameplay have acquired and driven new players into the gaming world.

Of course, that gaming success always comes with significantly higher hardware attach rates, which include gaming PCs, headsets, gaming equipment, and other PC components. The company expects the momentum from this strong market to continue in the coming days.

About PUBG, the gaming beast

Developed by "PUBG" Corporation, "PUBG" is an extremely huge multiplayer battle royale game. The game was published by "PUBG" Corporation, a subsidiary of Korean gaming firm Bluehole. The game was first in the market in March 2017 via Steam early access beta program.

About Fortnite, the fast-growing battle royale

Developed and published by Epic Games, "Fortnite" is another popular battle royale game which includes two game modes. The cooperative shooter-survival game "Fortnite: Save the World," and a free-to-play battle royal game "Fortnite Battle Royale." Both gaming modes were first introduced to the public in 2017 as early access titles.

However, the cooperative survival game "Fortnite: Save the World" has been made available only for Windows, PS4, macOS and Xbox One, while the "Fortnite Battle Royale" game has been released on iOS-powered devices and Nintendo Switch consoles. The developer has already announced plans for the Android version, which expected to arrive sometime this year.

However, as we mentioned earlier, the Android plans hits controversy because of the developer’s recent actions, where it declined to use the Google Play Store for its game distribution.

Instead, Epic Games decided to release and distributes the mobile version through the company’s website. The game will be made available on Android-powered devices this month, according to The Guardian.
